The following is a sample of services that I can provide your organization. I am flexible. With some guidance I can quickly grasp new and/or unique tasks.
I work for a minium of 4 hours and my fee is $25.00 per Hour Net.
Gallery Management:
• Filing, photocopying, mail & courier, order supplies
• Coordination of large mailings
• Maintaining and updating gallery database and related documents
• Compilation and maintenance of Company calendar
• Maintenance of records of payments to artists, artistic collaborators, community outreach workers, etc.
• Distributing e-newsletter and other e-mail communications (invitations, notices, etc.)
• Organization of special events
• Coordination with Artists for distribution of marketing materials
• Keeping track of required website maintenance
• Maintenance of images archive
• Provide callers/visitors with the necessary information about the company and its programs/services
• Organize documents and other records
• Assist in the preparations for workshops and/or forums
Exhibition Coordination:
• Assisting and organizing opening exhibitions and special events
• Writing press releases and exhibition documentation
• Assistance with installation
• Create labels for works of art
• General coordination of framing in and out shipments
• Facilitating and logging shipments in and out of the gallery
Preparatorial Duties:
• Track budgets• Manage/coordinate Company projects
• Contribute to and assist in capacity-building, strategic visioning and company development
• Coordinate meetings, flight and hotel accommodations for guest artist, staff, or board of directors
• Prepare for company meetings, board meetings and retreats and take minutes
Marketing & Graphic Design:
• Assist in developing marketing plans• Designing email marketing material
• Invitation design for special events
• Website: uploading information
• Develop relationships with Press - update weekly, monthly and exhibition listings
Sales Support:
• Assisting in the preparation of exhibition documents and press packages
• Maintaining and updating artist files, CVs, etc
• Assemble artist information for clients
• Receiving payment for sales
And:
• Research
• Set-up, design and implement workshops
• Attend and staff special events
• Organize caterers and book entertainment
• Proof read and edit written materials
• Assist Artistic Director as required
